Catching Up...

Fall is here and we seem to be as busy as ever! To catch up from the last post… Grant had his third soccer game this past weekend and scored his very first goal (make that three goals), our nephew Brice turned one on the 14th (my how time flies), our fall festival at church was a record setting year (pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins), Halloween was a blast with Grant as an Aggie football player, Caleb as French fries and Atlee as a farmer, we made our annual trip to Wurstfest (what a ten day salute to sausage that is), we had our 23 week appointment today (everything looked great, Heath’s heart rate was at 140 and he measured right on track…our next appointment is in 4 weeks and then we start going every two weeks…he’s going to be here before we know it!) and as for Heath's nursery...it is a work in progress! Here are some pictures to sum it up! Enjoy!

It's a BOY!!!

We are thrilled to announce that we are having another BOY! We had our 20 week sonogram on Friday. He weighed 11oz and everything was developing as it should. We have started working on the nursery, and anyone that knows us knows that it will be completed in a very timely manner! As for the question that everyone is asking us..."What is the name"...it's looking like Heath Edward Engler. We want to thank everyone for their continued thoughts and prayers!

18 Weeks...

As promised, here’s another picture of the baby bump in progress. We are 18 weeks along and have 9 days until we find out the sex of this little angel (not that we are counting). Grant says if it is a girl, which he thinks it is, the room “just needs to be pink”, but if it’s a boy he has suggested fishing, zoo and camo. What a creative big brother. He will definitely be a big part of the decorating process as he seems to always be with me when I shop! We will update you in 9 days!!!

It is amazing how fast they grow.

Erin has once again captured the bleach blonde hair, beautiful blue eyes, slender little figure and pearly white smile of our handsome little man.

Here's the story behind his outfit...

Grant wanted some real cowboy boots for his birthday, so we took him to Shepler's to let him pick them out. Of course he choose the one’s with the brightest green top! His Oma (Travis's mom) kept many sentimental items of Travis's and one happened to be the "E" belt buckle. So, needless to say we had to get an ostrich belt to match his boots to place his very own belt buckle on! Grant is very proud and we will be keeping them forever!

11 Weeks

Well it's official, there is only one baby #2. At our 11 week appointment today the baby was 8 cm, had a heartbeat of 135 and is due March 1, 2010. Our predictions right now are varied as a family. Grant thinks its a baby sister, Daddy thinks its a boy and Mommy thinks its a girl. I guess we will see who's right at our next sonogram on October 8th. Mom is getting the baby bump much sooner this time around. We will post pictures as we progress. As for Grant and Daddy, they had a wonderful summer together and are back to school and work today.
